Introduction
Progressive Push is an organization dedicated to educating and building a progressive network that stands up for our working families at the local, state, and federal levels. We specialize in preparing those who will educate and build farm teams of leaders who will move up to higher office.levels.Our Vision and Values
We will lead progressives toward bold agendas to improve Americans quality of life. We aim to elect genuine progressives who see government as a positive force and will fight for public policies reflecting such values as equality, opportunity, social justice and fairness.Our Strategy
We seek to develop a leadership and movement made up of people with strong motivation, idealism and initiative who will bring about a grassroots organizing and field work operation to educate thousands of students, college graduates, and activists to support our candidates.In each election..
Our Mission
We will support our elected officials long after Election Day. Through our networks, and our former organizers, who will develop new skills, find their next jobs, remain in touch with their peers and develop long term professional relationships. Together they will build a framework for the progressive movement in every state.Our mission is to find new citizen legislators -- people with the mind, spirit, and character to meet our ever-evolving future and its many challenges. Our candidates must be able to face these challenges with foresight and pragmatism, and must be ready to tackle issues with long-term solutions instead of short-term patches. Only when citizens themselves are willing to assume and to exercise the reins of power can "of the people, by the people, and for the people" be more than a catch phrase.
Our responsibility is to raise funds to underwrite our efforts to help bring future generations the opportunities that only America has to offer.
Our objective is to train, to guide, and offer support to progressive candidates as well as to hold them accountable if they fall short of the promises they made.
Through our training, our candidates will gain the skills needed to compete in and to win elections. Citizen Legislators will acquire the political capacitation to combat the difficult issues facing America.
Those educated in our courses will be given the tools to protect the great legacy of our Republic through their commitment to the Constitution.
